Megalodon Shark Teeth Hunting, Carolina Beach NC
Date:Sunday, July 25, 2010
Title:Megalodon Shark Teeth Hunting, Carolina Beach NC
Description:

Carolina Beach with Cape Fear Dive Center (Megalodon Shark Teeth Hunting!), July 24th and 25th, 2010

Below is from Cape Fear Dive Centers Site:

Carcharodon Megalodon was a giant shark that lived between 2 million and 16 million years ago. Little is known for sure about these giant predators because all that remains of their existence are fossilized teeth. These giant shark teeth range in size from 3 inches long to 7 inches long. They are massive things that can be bigger than a man’s hand. To put this in perspective a large great white shark measures about 20 feet long and weighs a little over 2 tons. A tooth from a shark like this is about 1.5 inches long. These teeth can be found off shore in Carolina Beach and we can take you to them. The dive is in about 115ft of water so NITROX is recomended. We aslo require a safety sausage and a wreck reel for each diver. Be the first human to ever see or touch your very own fossil sharks teeth.

$100 Deposit Required to Sign Up. Pease print and sign a copy of our Travel Policy and return it with your deposit. Book Early! Space is Limited! (We've booked the whole boat!)
